chocolate chip cookies.
hi friends! if you are reading this blog entry, there's a good chance you may have received cookies from my husband, jason, with dagley insurance. we know that these cookies are so yummy, so we've decided to put the recipe on my website, to share it with anyone interested.

sara beth's ridiculously decadent
chocolate chip cookies
(Recipe may be halved):
2 cups butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
5 cups blended oatmeal (Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.)
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 8oz. Hershey Bar - grated
24 oz. chocolate chips
3 cups your choice of chopped nuts - optional
Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes roughly 112 cookies.
