the birth of e.k.d.
emma kate designs was created in october of 2006, a week after the birth of our first baby, emma kate.
i worked for a beautiful boutique in plano for a few years, and did a lot of their printing. it was then that i developed a passion for creating from paper. i love the visual aspect of it. i love the limitless possibilities. i love the lettering styles, the colors, the textures. i love being able to create a gift for someone... something that is unique and personalized. i love being able to find the perfect style, the perfect wording, the perfect presentation to fit any event. i love being able to be a part of someone's special day, whether it's their wedding day, a baby shower, a graduation tea, a first birthday, a family's first christmas card... i love it.
i would love the opportunity to talk to you about creating something fabulous for your special day, or something special for a fabulous friend!
