baby talk.

this invitation was made for a friend of mine who loved a very similar tiny prints invitation, but could not afford it. so i took elements of the tiny prints invite and created one for her. :)

it's super fun, don't you think??

i'm sure this is a baby shower that even guys would love to go to. :)

sprinkles on top :: party pretties.

i've finally finished all the fun elements for sweet baby landri's baby sprinkle. i'm so glad wendi asked me to do these! i've had so much fun. i love the colors, the chevron stripes and the sweet ice cream cone theme. :)

sweet cupcake toppers & party rounds:

tent cards for food

foldover favor tags

this printable collection is customizable and available for purchase (along with the matching invitation & save-the-date). while it was created for a baby sprinkle, it would be super cute as a birthday party or bridle shower theme, also, don't you think?? :)

i would be more than happy to create additional custom pieces to go along with this collection, as well. if you are interested in purchasing this collection, or individual pieces from it, you may contact me at ekd.online@gmail.com. {keep in mind that the colors aren't nearly as vibrant in the format i have to use to post them on the blog... everything is so much more bright and beautiful in person.} :)

i can't wait to see pictures of wendi's baby sprinkle! hope they have lots of sweet fun celebrating baby landri! :)

with sprinkles on top :: invite.

i am having so much fun creating this collection for my friend, wendi in celebration of sweet baby landri. :)

she specifically wanted to include a pink & white chevron, girlie brights like pink, turquoise, lime & sunshine, with touches of sophisticated black. and, of course, the ice cream "with sprinkles on top" theme! i just love the way everything is coming together. {too bad the jpeg file i had to use to upload this image just doesn't do the colors any justice!}

included in the "party pretties" will be: cupcake toppers, water bottle labels, food label tent-cards, favor signs & favor tags, and an oh-so-fun banner to decorate the party place.

it's going to be precious, so stay tuned! :)

with sprinkles on top.

a college friend of mine is expecting her third baby, a sweet little girl named landri.

since there's not a whole lot they need in the baby gear department, they are celebrating with a baby "sprinkle," instead of a full-blown shower.

she asked me to create a save-the-date, invite & matching party pretties for the event.

this is the save the date. :)

i've had so much fun creating this little package... LOVE the ice cream with sprinkles theme! i'm hoping to get some pictures of all the little paper pretties in action at the party!

stay tuned for more from this "sprinkles on top" collection... would be precious for a birthday party, too! :)

rylie is TWO.

rylie elizabeth is a "big" 2-year-old now! we had a blast celebrating her birthday a couple weekends ago.

this was her super fun invitation. i'm proud of how it turned out.

i made everything (including the elmo & sesame street sign images) in microsoft word, because i have yet to learn how to use photoshop. i really need to do that, because i know it would cut down on my time and frustration! :)

there are some little things i'd change, but i think it's really cute, and the best part is, rylie got so excited each time she saw this invitation or the other party pieces i created. she'd start squealing, "mo-mo!!" which is 2-year-old for "elmo!!" :)

i'll post more pics of her party creations soon. right now, i need to call it a day so i can rest up for our big 4th of july trip to the zoo tomorrow! :)

happy fourth!

sweet baby kisses.

i am in love with this invitation from cross my heart!

my sweet friend michelle and her hubby jeremy are expecting their first child in october. their new baby girl will be named chloe faith... how sweet is that?

chloe faith's super cute nursery features cheerful bedding & accessories in coral, lime green and pale blue, so i wanted an invitation that showed off those colors. i was so excited when i found this one!

i printed the invitation in green & coral to match the geometric graphic on the paper. the clean font is "champagne & limosuines," and the scripty font is "monterrey."

i am sure that chloe faith will be just as bright, fun, and happy as this little invitation to a party in celebration of her little life! :)

baby shower: boy, oh boy.

a family friend from church, carol, is throwing shower for her niece, angelica, who is expecting new baby boy.

this invitation is by cross my heart, a local invitation company... which i LOVE. everything they make is SO cute! i love the funky stroller and gifts on this whimsical turquoise & lime invite.

i used "champagne & limosines" for the body of the text, and "amelie" for the mommy-to-be's name. all the ink was done in black, to keep it clean and simple. :)

baby shower: ready for take-off.

this super cute invitation is for my friend, sunny's baby shower. her little guy is due in mid-september. the nursery has a vintage airplane, car & truck theme, so this invitation was perfect!

the invitation is by lipstick shades. their selections are all very cute, clean and modern! and each invitation comes with a coordinating lined envelope. (sunny's envelopes were lined with the red, gred and blue polka-dotted pattern from the bottom of the card.)

i used "century gothic" in all lower-case for the text. i thought its clean, modern style matched the invitation very well. i printed the bulk of the text in baby blue, to match the images on the invitation.

sunny's name is in "amelie" (one of my favorites), to add a little whimsy to the boyish card. i accented with red to match the details in the invitation.

afternoon tea.

how very sweet is this little invitation from prints charming paper? my friend missy's daughter, brynn, is turning 8, and she wanted to have her party at the american girl bistro at the galleria. she and a few select friends are going to have tea, a 5-course meal, and of course dessert, with their favorite american girl doll in tow! how fun is that? i can't wait to see pictures. :)

i picked marnie regular for the font, because i think it's just too sweet and elegant. i kept it simple and printed the text in black.

happy birthday, brynn! have so much fun at the party!

tickled pink.

this fun invitation was created for a sweet friend's baby shower that i am co-hosting in a couple weeks. the paper is inviting company's "madras mix," and i found some ribbon that matches the trim exactly! i was so excited about this invitation. even though it's not super babyish, it's super girly and cute.

candice is having her third baby (and second girl!), so we didn't want to over-kill the baby theme. everything is going to be chic and fresh, orange and pink, fun and whimsical. i thought this invitation complimented that theme perfectly. :) the printing is in chocolate and bright pink. the fonts are century gothic light (in all lowercase) and amelie... one of my favorites... for candice's name.

i'll post pics of our fun shower soon!

birth announcement.

this birth announcement was done for our sweet friends, james & lisa burgess, who welcomed their firstborn, everett andrew, into our world not even a week ago. isn't he precious?

these announcements are from san lori, and actually were a christmas card on sale! everett's monogram and the text are in "cochin" (small caps) and his name is accented using "snell roundhand." all of the ink is brown to match the details in the card.

baby girl shower.

this shower was this past june, for a friend that i taught with at audelia creek elementary. christa teaches kindergarten at audelia creek, and i helped throw the shower, along with my pre-k teammates & christa's kindergarten teammates. christa's beautiful baby girl, kristen, was born in early september (right after the first week of school!), and both momma and baby are doing great!

i made this invitation, actually, in powerpoint, to send out to the school over email. i used century gothic for the body of the text, and amelia for the cutesy accents. : )

baby dedication.

i love this invitation that i used for emma kate's baby dedication. it has a soft pink border and soft pink accents on the ornate cross "topper." you can't see it in the picture, but the cross is also lightly dusted with shimmery glitter. they are so elegant and sweet!

i used "adine kirnberg" on this invitation.

baby shower.

i just completed these sweet invitations for a sweet friend of mine, missy, who is throwing a baby shower for her sister, ellie.

ellie and her husband, a.j., are expecting their first baby in january. they will name their baby boy anthony jacob and call him "jake." so sweet!

these invitations are made from paper by noteworthy collections, inc. the fonts are "cochin," in small caps, and "marnie regular." i used a blue satin 5/8" ribbon to "tie" it all together.

i hope that ellie enjoys her invitations, her shower, and especially her sweet baby boy.

i will try to get some pics from the shower, later, so you can see the whole theme at work together!
