sara beth's ridiculously decadent
chocolate chip cookies(Recipe may be halved): 2 cups butter2 cups brown sugar2 cups sugar4 eggs3 tsp. vanilla5 cups blended oatmeal (Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.)4 cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda2 tsp. baking powder4 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. salt1 8oz. Hershey Bar - grated 24 oz. chocolate chips3 cups your choice of chopped nuts - optionalCream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes roughly 112 cookies.
